Amakhosi Reserves Reclaim DDC Summit with Narrow Victory Over TS Galaxy

Kaizer Chiefs Reserves returned to the top of the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) standings with a 1-0 victory over TS Galaxy at King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday. Midfielder Manqoba Ozoemena scored the decisive goal in the 76th minute, propelling Amakhosi above Stellenbosch FC, who had briefly taken the lead the previous day. In the SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL), Chiefs’ youth teams experienced mixed results against TUKS at the Village. The U14s and U15s secured 3-0 and 3-1 wins, respectively, while the U17s and U19s suffered 3-1 and 2-0 defeats. The next GDL fixture is scheduled for Saturday, 19 April, away against the School of Excellence.
