Wednesday Area Commissioner’s officials under Kokstad Management Area hiked at Ingeli forest in Kokstad.
This is the staff that deals with the administration of all 05 Correctional Centres and 04 Community Corrections Office in Kokstad Management Area.
It is an area office whereby daily, weekly, and monthly reports from all these centres are consolidated before they can be forwarded to the provincial and national offices. Indeed, it is a very strenuous job that needs accuracy at all times. It entails offices like finance, supply chain, corrections admin, human resources, development and care, etc.
Mfanelo Chonco, one of the hikers, said that due to the nature of the job they are doing, they really need excursions of this nature.

The mood from the team was very positive, scary and exciting at the same time since most members were inexperienced hikers but they trusted one another and that on its own showed character and good results of team work.
