The Alfred Nzo District Municipality (ANDM) officially swore in Councillor Lungisani Nkamba as a new member of the District Council on Tuesday, 12 November 2025, at its offices in eMaXesibeni. Nkamba, who represents Ward 16 in Matatiele, takes over from the late Councillor Siphamandla Ntabeni as the Matatiele Local Municipality delegate.

During a formal ceremony at the Alfred Nzo District Municipality offices, Speaker of Council Sixolile Mehlomakulu led the swearing-in of Councillor Nkamba.
