Alfred Nzo Community Radio (ANCR) kicked off its 2025 Festive Season Awareness Campaign at the Ntabankulu Taxi Rank on the 05th of November. The drive will reach all towns in the Alfred Nzo District to promote safety and responsible behavior during the holidays.
What Happened
ANCR teamed up with ANDM, Department of Health, Department of Transport, RAF, and the Eastern Cape Liquor Board to raise awareness about road safety and responsible drinking. The event featured live broadcasts, safety talks, and community engagement.
“The festive season should bring joy, not loss,” said an ANCR representative.
Official Response
ANDM officials praised the partnership, saying it strengthens local safety campaigns. Other partners mentioned teamwork as vital to reducing accidents for December 2025.
Community Impact
Residents welcomed the effort and looked forward to ANCR’s 18th anniversary celebrations, marking years of impactful community service.
