The University of Fort Hare held its Academic Excellence Awards, 3 November 2025, at the Alice Campus. The event celebrated more than 100 students for their outstanding academic achievements.
What Happened
The ceremony was beautifully organised and showcased the Faculty’s commitment to recognising excellence and hard work. It also honoured the Faculty Council for its ongoing support to both students and staff throughout the year.
Official Response
Dean Prof Neil Roos thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the event. “The Faculty takes great pride in the accomplishments of its students and the teamwork that made this memorable event possible,” he said.
Dr Kim Schmidt, Acting Deputy Dean of Teaching and Learning, also congratulated all award recipients and organisers for making the celebration a success.
