Nolubabalo Mcinga has dismissed claims that she is forming a new political party, calling the reports false and misleading.

In a public statement issued on Friday, 18 October 2025, the Deputy President and founder of the Afrika Mayibuye Movement confirmed that she remains a full and active member of the organisation.

Mcinga stated she had been removed from some internal WhatsApp groups and received a letter on 11 October with allegations she says are false.

She has since submitted her formal response within the required 7-day period.

“I am not forming a new party with anyone,” she added, although she admitted being approached by individuals seeking advice on starting their own.

She said any future decisions will be shared publicly via press conference if and when necessary.
