On the 2nd of October 2025, South Africa’s automotive industry celebrated a historic milestone as the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA) celebrated its 90th anniversary at SA Auto Week 2025. The celebration featured a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony attended by NAAMSA CEO Billy Tom, Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition Parks Tau, and Eastern Cape Premier Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane.
Their Story
NAAMSA, also known as the Automotive Business Council, has been at the forefront of South Africa’s automotive development for nearly a century.
