Residents of Ndayingana Location in Bizana will have access to free health services on the17 September 2025, when the Eastern Cape Department of Health brings its Thuma Mina Outreach Programme to the community. The event, starting at 09:00 AM, will be hosted by the Alfred Nzo Health District.

WHAT HAPPENED

The Department of Health confirmed that the outreach aims to improve access to Primary Health Care (PHC) in rural and underserved areas. The programme will provide a wide range of services at no cost, ensuring that families and individuals receive the care they often struggle to access.

A spokesperson for the Department said the initiative reflects government’s commitment to ensuring healthcare equity.

“We are bringing services closer to the people, especially those in rural communities where access is limited,” the Department noted.
