Hillary Gardee, the daughter of former EFF Secretary-General Godrich Gardee, went missing on Friday and her body was discovered outside Mbombela, Mpumalanga.

In a statement to the media, EFF national spokesperson Sinawo Thambo said, “This heart-breaking news has left the Gardee family devastated and the leadership of the EFF at a loss for words.”  They also revealed that Hillary was found with a bullet wound to the head and marks on her body.

EFF Leader Julius Malema expressed shock after discovering about Gardee’s passing and He said, “They killed her, may her soul rest in perfect permanent peace, we will find them.”

After consulting with the family, the EFF communications office decided that all enquiries about Gardee’s death should be sent to them, and they described Hillary Gardee as an enthusiastic, friendly, and kind with a passion for Information Technology.

We express our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to Commissar Gardee; we mourn with the Gardee family and will lend a hand to guarantee that her memory is preserved and that she is laid to rest with dignity, said the EFF national spokesperson.
