The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has officially confirmed payment dates for the R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant for beneficiaries approved in June 2025. Payments will be made between 26 and 30 June 2025.
This applies to applicants who successfully passed the monthly verification process and have received approval for June.
SASSA R350 Payment Dates for June 2025
- Processing window: Wednesday, 26 June to Sunday, 30 June 2025
- Bank deposits may reflect within 2–3 working days after the payment date
- Beneficiaries are encouraged to check their status online for exact pay dates
How to Check Your SASSA R350 Status
To find out if your R350 grant for June is approved and when it will be paid:
- Go to: https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status
- Enter your ID number and the cell number used during application
- Click Submit to see your payment status and date
What Your SASSA Status Means:
- Approved: Your payment is being processed. A pay date will appear soon.
- Pending: Your application is still under review. Keep checking.
- Declined: You may submit an appeal via the SASSA SRD website.
- Bank Details Pending: Your application is incomplete — update your banking info immediately.
Important Notes from SASSA
SASSA has emphasized that:
- R350 SRD payments are made through bank accounts, retail stores, or cash send options
- No in-person collections at post offices are allowed
- Status checks must be done online only
R350 SRD Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the SRD grant, you must:
- Be 18–59 years old
- Be unemployed and not receiving other income
- Not benefit from NSFAS, UIF, or any SASSA grant
- Be a South African citizen, asylum seeker, or permanent resident
