Minister of Police Senzo Mchunu, accompanied by his two Deputy Ministers, National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola, and Eastern Cape MEC for Safety Xolile Nqatha, visited Ngobozana Village in Lusikisiki following a horrific mass shooting that claimed the lives of 18 people.
The high-level delegation arrived at the crime scene to assess the situation firsthand and to offer support to the grieving families. The visit serves as both an expression of condolences and a crucial opportunity to engage with the local community about the rising crime rates in the area.
