Amathole District Municipality has created a new project in Xhora named iXhora bulk water supply, The project will be helping 60,000 homes to receive water.
This project cost R700 million and it will help villages over 300 to receive water.
One of the community members said that “they had taps in their ward but the taps were always empty”.
The municipality is grateful that the people of iXhora will now have some improvement.
