Eastern Cape Health MEC Nomakhosazana Meth officially opened Kgotsong TB Hospital in Matatiele on Thursday. MEC says such great work is exciting to her because people deserve such quality hospitals, also it shows that they are moving on the right path as they are preparing for national health insurance in 2026.
“Seeing such a great job I would like to congratulate everyone who was involved in building this beautiful facility, Eastern Cape citizens deserve such hospitals to regain their dignity also I have been told that everything is of good quality outside and inside the hospital, including doctors and nurses they are ready for patients anytime,” said MEC Meth
Matatiele Mayor Sonwabile Mngenela says he is happy that the hospital has been expanded to accommodate a large number of patients, he further says what makes him more excited is the quality of the hospital.
“We want to remind Matatiele residents that the South African government cares about their well-being hence he build such facilities for them to regain their dignity even when they are not feeling well,” said Mayor Mngenela
Mthuthuzeli Nomalala Matatiele residents encourage the community to randomly visit the hospital for checkups, especially men.
